Her hands were shaking! Easton smiled, her dimples set deep in her cheeks, but no matter what she did, she couldn't get her body to hold still. She hummed. Looking down the aisle formed by their friends and their family, all she could do was clutch her little bouquet tighter as she made the short journey towards her Snug. Her family was there, the family that mattered. The family she and Luca created together. They were all there to celebrate with them and to party.
They were already married. They took care of that in the most romantic place on earth, Pai, Thailand. There was really no reason to be nervous, and she really wasn't. Yet, she shook. She shook with joy and excitement and her heart bubbled over. She was overwhelmed. She'd never been one to dream about a fairytale wedding, but here she was living one.
Looking up she caught sight of Luca, of the love of her life. He was her true soul mate in every meaning of the words. He was her other half and she wasn't complete without him. Easton swooned and before she could help it she was crying the happiest tears of her life.
Luca had been the one to dream about having a fairytale wedding. He'd always known he wanted to find a wife, get married, be a husband. He didn't exactly have a wedding scrapbook, but it had been something he'd always hoped for. And while their private ceremony in Thailand was enough to make it real for him, there was still a part of him that wanted the big hoopla. He wanted to share the love and happiness he'd found in East with everybody in their little universe.
Music pricked at the edge of his awareness. He knew it was playing, knew the song because they'd picked it together, but he could hardly hear it he was so focused on the beautiful woman walking toward him. Waiting for East to join in at the altar was turning out to be one of life's greatest challenges. All he wanted to do was run up to her and take her in his arms.
As usual, his little cousin was on the same wavelength as he was. Kaya, Iron Man mask off for the ceremony, poked him in the thigh with a skinny finger to get his attention. "Just goooo already," she whispered, in what could only be classified as a very outdoor voice.
And that was all it took. He could have waited, probably should have, as per centuries of wedding tradition, but they were the Snugs. They made their own traditions. And so Luca started walking towards her. Slowly, at first, then running the last few steps so he could take her hand in his own.
This was it. This was their moment. The moment he'd been waiting his entire life for. The rest of their lifetimes together began now.

My love. My Luca. My Snug. It scares me sometimes how much I love you and that I can't imagine life without you. Everything I am and everything I want to be is with you. I don't ever want it to be any other way. I am proud to be your wife and your person.

I promise always to put you first because no matter how I argue, you always do the same for me. I promise that nothing will ever be too hard or bad that we can't plan around it.
